General meeting
General meeting of the Chamber is the highest governing institution of the Chamber of Tax Advisors. The General Meeting shall meet under decision of the Board not less than once in two years. The decision of the General Meeting on all issues shall be made by open voting on the principle of «one member, one vote» by a simple majority of votes of members participating in the General Meeting. The decision of the General meeting of the Chamber shall be adopted if it is voted for by more than a half of the registered delegates of the General meeting of the Chamber.
The exclusive competence of the General meeting of the Chamber includes:
- approval of the Charter and revised Charter of the Chamber in case of changes or additional provisions adoption, approval of the new edition of the Charter;
- determining the quantity, structure, election and recall of members of the Supervisory Board, Directorate and the Director;
- hearing and approving the reports on the work of the Directorate of Commerce, the Supervisory Board, the estimation of their activity;
- definition of strategic directions of activity of the Chamber;
- decision making on the alienation of the property for an amount which is fifty percent or more of the property of the Chamber;
- decision making on the question about self-dissolution and reorganization of the Chamber;
- approval of samples of membership certificates of the Chamber, seal, symbols and attributes of the Chamber.
The Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board is one of the governing bodies, which consists of active and associated members of the Chamber and shall be elected on 2 years period by the General meeting.
Within the competence of the Supervisory Board are the following
- General supervision over the work of the Chamber
- Develop the strategy of development of the Chamber
- Ensuring the implementation of decisions of the Directorate
- provision of conclusions on the conformity of the Charter, decisions and other documents adopted by the Directorate of the Chamber.
The Directorate of Chamber
The Directorate of Chamber is a collegiate governing body of the Chamber in the period between the General meetings, which may exercise its functions on a voluntary basis, or work on a permanent basis, on which is made by a corresponding decision of the General meeting of the Chamber and is elected by the General meeting of the Chamber for a period of 2 years. Members of the Directorate of Chamber can be only active members of the Chamber.
